Community Responses – Week One

We’re only two days in, but already you have been getting involved by sharing your stories, photos, challenges and joys you have faced with the rest of the community.

We’ve put together a selection of these here, to give you an idea of how people have been getting on. If you’d like to get back in touch with us during Lent, to share your journey with the community, you can do so on our Facebook Group, or over on our community page.

Over on the Facebook community:

Eco Chaplain David Coleman enjoyed his last bacon roll before going veggie for the climate!

Some of you have been sharing on Twitter…

Through the website, Anne said…

“I have chosen one challenge to do, but am tempted to try and do two of the others too! (It was hard to choose!) I’m starting Lent very enthusiastically!”

And you’ve even made some great meat-free recipe suggestions:

Palestinian Lentil Soup

Palestinian Mujadara

And finally, a little shoutout to some of the church communities who have joined us in a Living Lent:

Panshanger Church
St John’s Hillingdon
Christ Church Merseyside
Churches Together in Liverpool
Toll Gavel URC, Beverley
Cotteridge Church, Birmingham
Hove Trinity Church

If you’re joining us as a church, let us know how you’re getting on by getting in touch on Twitter, or through our online form.
